Very well laid out museum full of fascinating history about the 'Liverpool Lads'. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Hard to believe it's 60-years ago when they started. All the staff were very pleasant & the coffees in the cafe excellent too. Highly recommended😊

This was a fantastic experience! So many highlights from the recreation of the Cavern to the historic letters preserved for us all to read. The headset commentary is a genius move and adds immeasurably to the expierkence. My highlight is George's first guitar. Hugely recommend this to everyone

We had a Great time at the BEATLES STORY MUSEUM, It was very interesting and a brilliant attraction celebrating the Fame of the FAB FOUR from their early days in LIVERPOOL to their world wide sucess. The BEATLES were the best rock and roll band of all time.

The attention to detail was absolutely amazing. Original memorabilia. Actual fim footage, original music and voice recordings. Each seperate area made you feel you were actually experiencing the real places and venues including the actual flight to USA.

We were in Liverpool just to do the Beatles tour and this place certainly didn't let us down,lots of artifacts from the beatles but also from other bands plus a nice little cafe that puts John lennons face on your coffee.

Getting started

You’ll find The Beatles Story at the Royal Albert Dock. Just show your ticket at the entrance, pick up your audio guide, and head in. There’s no fixed route or timing, so you can take it at your own pace. Most people spend about an hour and a half here.

What to expect

The whole place is laid out like a timeline, so it naturally walks you through different phases of The Beatles’ journey without feeling confusing or overwhelming.

Recreated career defining locations: You’ll walk through spaces modeled after places like The Cavern Club and Abbey Road Studios, with lighting and details that make them feel surprisingly real.

Original Beatles memorabilia: Along the way, you’ll spot real items like John Lennon’s piano and George Harrison’s early guitar, placed in simple displays that let you get a close look.

Multilingual audio guide: The audio guide is offered in 12 different languages and it quietly fills in the gaps, explaining what you’re looking at and adding stories that make each section feel more connected and meaningful.

Discovery Zone: There’s a separate area that feels lighter and more hands on, where kids can sit down, draw, and interact with The Beatles story in a more playful way.

Fab4 Café and Store: Toward the end, you can sit down for a quick break or browse through shelves of Beatles themed merchandise if you feel like taking something home.

Unfortunately, the museum’s lift is currently out of order and as a result, the exhibition can only be accessed via steps.
