You can't miss The Beatles when you are in Liverpool. The Beatles Story Museum is really a great museum to visit. It is very informative, interesting and their history is presented through fantastic installations. It takes you back to their era, very enjoyable.

Fascinating place and a lot of useful information. The best point was the audio guide even in Polish language that gives even more information than is exhibited. Maybe it would be good to be able to listen some music with headphones in other way. Anyway it was worth it to be here 😊

Getting started

You’ll find The Beatles Story at the Royal Albert Dock. Just show your ticket at the entrance, pick up your audio guide, and head in. There’s no fixed route or timing, so you can take it at your own pace. Most people spend about an hour and a half here.

What to expect

The whole place is laid out like a timeline, so it naturally walks you through different phases of The Beatles’ journey without feeling confusing or overwhelming.

Multilingual audio guide: The audio guide is offered in 12 different languages and it quietly fills in the gaps, explaining what you’re looking at and adding stories that make each section feel more connected and meaningful.

Discovery Zone: There’s a separate area that feels lighter and more hands on, where kids can sit down, draw, and interact with The Beatles story in a more playful way.

Fab4 Café and Store: Toward the end, you can sit down for a quick break or browse through shelves of Beatles themed merchandise if you feel like taking something home.

Unfortunately, the museum’s lift is currently out of order and as a result, the exhibition can only be accessed via steps.
