Pro tips to help you make a pick

The skip-the-line tour includes your Bahia Palace entry ticket and guided experience, while the guide-only option requires you to purchase your ticket separately at the entrance. Booking the skip-the-line version online saves time and ensures a hassle-free visit, though paying on-site offers more flexibility.

Guided tours typically last around 2 hours, covering the palace’s main highlights—from lavish reception halls to peaceful courtyards and gardens. Combo tours that also include sites like the Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, or the Medina may extend longer.

The palace is mostly on one level, making it fairly accessible for wheelchair users, though visitors should note that a few sections feature uneven or stone flooring.

A big thank you to Ahmed for his kindness and especially for all the little touches during this tour (suitable pace, advice on getting around safely, etc.). He has a very good knowledge of the history of the place and of history in general, including that of France (sometimes better than us!). Highly recommended without hesitation.

Tour was excellent. Guide was knowledgeable and able to give lot of historical fact. We enjoyed the Bahie palace. Cost was higher if you buy guided tour and the tickets together as compare to guided tour only and pay for the tickets at the door.

Elhoussine was the PERFECT guide. Literally couldn't have asked for a better day. He went above and beyond to get us to as much as possible and really immerse us in the Moroccan culture. He clearly knows his way around Marrakech and is extraordinarily knowledgeable about Morrocco and his hometown of Marrakech. I would rate him 10 stars if I could! We are already planning to bring our children back to explore more with Elhoussine.
