Beautifull is an understatement for this headout. Carcassonne is a man made wonder! With headout it was cheaper and very easy. No lines at all! Just open the app, scan and entry.Maro

A very special castle. Walk along the outer wall to see the castle from the inside. The entire Cité with its alleyways, houses and restaurants is also so well preserved. Around 230 people live there today. Definitely worth a visit. We only had time for the castle in 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, as is so often the case in France, there are no leaflets or signs in German.Katrin

Great experience. Free access for children. Loads of people, but not overcrowded. Reasonably priced shops and restaurants. Nice views!
