The trip was well organised with different timings across the day to spread the crowds. We were pleased it was cooler time of year so waiting wasn't too hot and it was a pleasant temperature at the top. The access was goood for most levels of mobility and it wasn't exhausting going up. You definitely need good flat shoes/trainers as it can be slippery off the main tracks. At the top there was lots of space for all to enjoy delicate the crowds on the way up. It was awe inspiring looking at the Parthenon and other buildings. Very pleased we went to the acropolis museum first and knew more about the history and buildings.

1100 entry was a good time to go - well managed numbers and not too hot. We were warned about the steep access - the walk ways are well marked, sturdy and supported with hand rails. allow min 1 hour obtained parthenon and another hour the see the rest of the sites. Good transport on the 3 main hop on hop off bus routes. An easy walk back down to enjoy the old town. A good day out easy walk down to the old tie.

Incredible but here's why - go first thing 8am and during shoulder season Is a real gem! Save the cup of coffee for after because there are no drinks other than water allowed and there are great breakfast spots on the way out! The sunrise is stellar and less crowd means better photos and better views. Bring a jacket in September October as it's chilly that early but definitely work it!

Truly memorable experience taking my retired architect father to visit the Acropolis Parthenon for his 80th birthday. A dream come true for him. Went earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. No pressure rushing to the top so plenty of time to take in the spectacular buildings and views from the top. Very easy to find and access and sunshine to top it off!

Excellent, we went in November so no crowds, no queues and everything was easy to navigate. Bus staff very friendly and helpful. Acropolis and Parthenon amazing, went straight in at our allocated time and not too many people in there so got some great photos.
