Step into a nocturnal dreamscape at Astra Lumina, an immersive night walk at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Guided by cosmic light and sound, you’ll journey through a luminous rainforest, where light projections, glowing pathways, and soothing music transform nature into a magical starry spectacle.

Getting started

Arrive early at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and have your ticket ready for check-in, where staff will guide you to the Astra Lumina starting point. Then, make your way to the welcome area, where you can purchase snacks and light refreshments before going on your journey.

What to expect

Step into a celestial pathway: Follow 800 meters of illuminated trails and three newly built bridges, including a mystical drawbridge, as you weave through the night.

Nine immersive zones: Each section of Astra Lumina tells a different part of the stars’ journey to Earth with mesmerizing projections, shimmering lights, and theatrical soundscapes.

A universe of effects: Watch as over 2,000 lights flicker and shift around you, enhanced by fog, smoke, and laser displays.

The temple is not wheelchair accessible due to the sloping trail and unsealed surfaces.
