Main Entrance (Plantage Kerklaan Gate)
Located at Plantage Kerklaan 38-40, the Main Entrance is the primary gateway to ARTIS Royal Zoo. It is directly opposite the ARTIS tram stop and adjacent to the Artisplein square. The entrance is also the access point for the ARTIS-Groote Museum and ARTIS-Micropia, making it easy to combine your visit.
ARTIS is open every day of the year.
- Opening hours: 9am to 6pm from March 1 to October 31, and 9am to 5pm from November 1 to February 28.
- Duration: Plan to spend about 2 to 3 hours for a comfortable visit.
A souvenir shop is located near the main exit, offering a range of gifts and memorabilia.
