• Wheelchair access: Wheelchair access is available on the Alaska Railroad trains.

• Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in any of the train cars.

• Seating type: Your ticket grants you reserved seating in Adventure Class, which offers single-level railcars, reclining seats facing forward, generous legroom, and storage space.

• Dining: Dining cars are available on all Alaska Railroad trains except the Hurricane Turn Train. Meals and beverages are available for purchase separately and are not included in your ticket.

• Baggage: Checked baggage service is available at the Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Fairbanks depots only. At other stops, the conductor and onboard supervisor handle luggage and boarding.

• Schedule: Winter service operates on weekends through January, with select midday departures added in February and March.

• Weather: Trains may be canceled due to severe weather. Monitor the forecast before your journey and ensure your phone number and email address are provided so Alaska Railroad can contact you about cancellations.

• Special winter conditions: Plan your onward transportation and accommodation before traveling, particularly when arriving at remote stops.
