  • The ADREA guided tour moves through 8 distinct spaces across the campus, from working stables and a training arena to the world's first equestrian library in the Middle East and the UAE's only saddle-making atelier.

    Getting started

Tours run Wednesday to Sunday, 9 AM to 6 PM. The campus entrance opens onto a central courtyard inspired by Andalusian and Moorish architecture: white stucco walls, arched doorways, terracotta roofs, and a reflective fountain. Your guide begins here, setting the context for Furusiyya and the philosophy that connects every space on the tour. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session; late arrivals may not be accommodated.

    What to expect

The tour moves chronologically through ADREA's five pillars, performance, education, preservation, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage, in a single 65,000 sq m campus. Each stop is distinct: some are quiet and contemplative (the library, the gallery), others are active (the stables, the arena, the atelier where craftspeople work as you watch). Your guide connects the spaces throughout, explaining how the Furusiyya philosophy runs from the welfare standards in the equine clinic through to the 2,000-year timeline of artefacts in the gallery.

    Features

    • Furusiyya Gallery: 173 rare artefacts tracing equestrian history across Eastern and Western civilisations over 2,000+ years

    • Equestrian Library: 14,000+ books, manuscripts, and rare volumes; the first specialised equestrian library in the Middle East, with a hand-carved wooden core designed by Beirut studio David/Nicolas

    • Dar Al Hiraf (Saddle Atelier): The UAE's first saddle-making atelier, with live artisan demonstrations of saddle design, construction, and restoration; conceived as a "room within a room" with the craftsperson at centre stage

    • Stables: 60 air-conditioned stalls, each with real-time health monitoring; home to 40+ pure Spanish-bred white stallions

    • Performance Arena: Viewed during the tour to observe riders in active training sessions

    • Tack Room: Curated equestrian equipment alongside an art installation depicting ADREA's 40 horses

    • Equine Clinic: A dedicated veterinary and rehabilitation facility, reflecting ADREA's horse-first design philosophy.

  • What to bring
