  • Try your hand at an exhilarating 2-hour climb along Adelaide Oval’s striking rooftop, guided by an expert who will share fascinating local history, quirky facts, and point out key landmarks. Your journey starts with a briefing at the RoofClimb Centre in the South West corner on Level 1, Riverbank Stand. Start on the open viewing deck, where sweeping views of the Oval and Adelaide’s skyline await. For the daring ones, you can lean out at the 50-meter point. Next, head to the City View area, where you can catch views of Adelaide's cityscape. Conclude the tour with a group photo, a souvenir cap, and a certificate of achievement.

  • What to bring

    • Wear fully enclosed rubber-soled shoes for grip.
    • Wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather conditions on the day of your climb.

    What’s not allowed

    • Cameras, phones, and jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, drop earrings and watches are not allowed on this experience.
    • This experience is restricted for guests under 120 cm in height, 8 years old, and who are over 136 kg.

    Accessibility

    • This experience is not accessible by wheelchair.
    • This experience is restricted for guests with medically diagnosed acrophobia, broken bones, severely impaired limbs, cardiac issues, epilepsy, back or joint injury, syncope, or have recently undergone surgery.
    • Guests over 20 weeks pregnant are restricted from participating in this experience.

    Additional Information

    • Children aged between 8 and 15 years must be accompanied by a paying adult, with a maximum of 3 children per adult.
    • Guests over the age of 75 will need to have the Medical Clearance Form signed by their doctor 21 days prior to the date of the climb. Guests can provide the signed form at the time of check-in or submit it 7 days prior to the scheduled climb.
    • Guests will be provided with an attachment lanyard for sunglasses and prescription glasses.
    • Guests are required to sign the declaration and disclaimer form and complete a breathalyzer test. Anyone who records a blood alcohol reading of 0.05% or higher will not be allowed to participate in the climb.
    • Guests under the age of 18 will need to get the declaration form signed by their parent or legal guardian and present it on the day of the climb.
    • Guests with diabetes must conduct a blood glucose level test no more than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled climb in the presence of our personnel and obtain a reading between 6-15 mmol/dl to participate in the experience.
    • Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

      • Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the meeting point.

      • Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your tour to avoid any delays.
