There were endless queues in front of the Accademia Gallery. The tickets bought via Headout meant skipping the lines and getting inside on the specified time slot. The Accademia Gallery is small and was packed with touristis, but the exposed art is marvelous. And the Uffizi gallery is just unforgettable - not just the works of art but also the building and its interiors. Uffizi is more comfortable for seeing the paintings and statues as the space is large and you have time to observe and explore. Also the cafe with roof terrace and view of Palazzo Vecchio was great for taking rest at coffee and a delicious lemmon cake.

We enjoyed the visit. I thought getting the tickets would be a little more challenging as there' re a lot of visitors waiting outside of the academy and the street was packed but amazingly the agency was very close to the entrance so was much easier than I expected. The staff was very kind as we asked if it would be possible to bring our entry time forward, and they did their best to get us in a little earlier, which we really appreciated.

The audio tour was excellent and provided clear, interesting descriptions of the landmarks and artworks we visited. Discover Florence, its architecture, and its history. To visit Florence is to see the famous David at the Galleria dell'Accademia. A unique experience. They changed our entry time to the Galleries, but we had a great time. The second floor, where the most famous paintings are, was a bit more crowded, but you could still view them in detail.
