The visit was a continuous thrill. It is difficult to rank the building and the works it contains. I was particularly annoyed by the constant requests for reviews. I felt compelled to write one to stop the constant requests... If you intend to be professionals, this is not the way to go about it. If someone wants to leave a review because they feel the need to, that's fine, but it's wrong to force them to do so.

Our tickets were for early in the morning, which I recommend doing. This helped us get in quickly and enjoy the museum without many people around us. We were inside the gallery even before the scheduled time. The process of picking up the tickets was quite simple.

Accessibility

Both the Uffizi and Accademia Galleries are wheelchair and stroller accessible, with facilities to accommodate visitors with mobility needs.

From December 2, 2024 to December 2, 2025, lifts in the east wing near the Granducal Staircase will be closed for maintenance. Visitors needing lift access can ask staff to escort them to the west wing (Lanzi Staircase) lifts.

No re-entry is allowed once you exit either gallery.
