Parents magazine voted this zoo to be the best in the country? Umm, debatable. Don't think I'd go so far. Especially because of covid there are many closings and many limitations. Still good place to take your kids though.Nathaniel

Pros: - Not too big, you can visit all places of the zoo and aquarium within a day. - Refuge for injured manatees that they take care of - what a noble cause. - There's a fun train ride that is for free that takes you around the zoo - pretty sweet. - We got to see a rhino up close with her new born, it was a very special moment. Cons: - Tickets are a bit pricey. - Didn't see many of the animals you'd expect to see at the zoo - maybe because of covid, maybe renoovations, idk. - Food is not cheap here. Lots of food courts, etc but not worth it. - The train ride line is crazy long, waited for 30-35 minutes to get to the front of line. - Stingray pool was fun but it is very small.Julio

This was a good buy. I was only interested in the Florida Aquarium. But this was at a discounted rate and I got to visit ZooTampa as well:) I'd been looking forward to the aquarium for months now! It was every bit as i'd imagined it. I think the new exhibit, Journey to Madagascar was particularly fascinating. The ring taled lemurs and chameleons caught me eye. My 10yo son loooved the stingray beach. We even had some time to check out the splash pad afterward, spent some quality time with my son. Was a nice touch. And then we headed over to ZooTampa and learned a lot about Florida's wildlife and animals native to Florida. As well as some exotic animals. There are many exhibits and activities spread through the day so you can just walk up to them and listen to what's happening. Pretty convenient thta way.Marguerite
