Walking Tours in Naples

Walking where Roman's walked 2000 years ago. Also the painting of the walls and frescoes. The guide gave a lot of information - she answered everyone's questions.

Nuestra guía fue muy buena, explicaba todo muy bien y era muy tranquila. Quizás se nos hizo la visita algo corta porque eran 2 horas y finalmente dudo mucho que llegará a la hora y media. Pero lo que nos explicó fue perfecto.

Everything was so well organised, and we knew what we were doing at all times. The train to and from Herculaneum was easy to navigate - there was a train manager on board that helped when we didn't know what to do. The walk from the station to the site was downhill, and very easy to find. The tour guide was knowledgable and friendly - made us really feel what it was like to have been in Herculaneum at the time of the infamous eruption. Getting back was easy - retrace our steps to the station, hop on the train, and back to Sorrento. Great day - amazing site - definitely recommend!

Excellent tour, Frankie brought Pompeii to life with his enthusiasm, humour and knowledge. He kept us clear of the crowds wherever possible, didn't make us feel rushed and advised the best time to photograph the main area by leading us back to where we started when everything was quieter. The whole experience was great value for money and meeting up with the tour party was so easy and straight forward. Both my son and I were so pleased we had joined the tour and both of us agreed it is excellent value for money. 10/10

La guida è stata molto brava nell'esporci il tutto. Ha reso la visita molto affascinante ed interessante. E' stato un piacere seguirla anche se c'era abbastanza caldo e tante persone in giro per il parco. Abbiamo portato un bimbo di 3 anni, che è riuscito a seguire quasi tutto senza annoiarsi, è stata dura camminare con il passegino in alcuni punti ma è stato un successone anche perchè la guida ci è venuata incontro con consigli ed indicazioni mirate.

Friendly and enthusiastic guide with good knoweldge of the site and its history. Small group. Headphones worked fine. Well paced 3 hour tour taking in a good sample of the best sites to see in Pompeii. The Villa dei Misteri was a highlight for me with its set of frescoes showing a Roman woman's journey to marriage - life size paintings in very good condition. The tour inevitably left out other "must see" sites, so taking an early morning tour and then staying on for the rest of the day to do more exploring on your own definitely recommended. The restaurant at the top of the catering building in the middle of the site was very good - ignore the self-service queues and walk up to the restaurant - nice terrace with tables and views over Pompeii.

The archaeologist that took us on tour of the site was amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable and very well timed managed. Absolutely recommend going on this tour!

A great day, especially good seeing Mt Vesuvio and Herculaneum together was brilliant to get an understanding of the size of the eruption. Plenty of time at both sites and the pick up and drop off was perfect. Seeing Pompeii seperatly was also brilliant.
