Begin your tour at the majestic St. Paul's Cathedral. For more than 1,400 years, St. Paul's Cathedral has stood proudly over the highest point in the city. Sir Christopher Wren took 35 years to build it and you'll find out why on this tour as you explore its seven chapels, the massive crypt, and the beautiful interiors. You will be accompanied by an expert guide who will fill you in on fascinating stories of how the cathedral was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London, what priceless art lies inside, and more.
A visit to London's dark past
Then, you will make your way to the Tower of London. In its long (and gruesome) history, the Tower's buildings and grounds served as a royal palace, a political prison, a place of execution, an arsenal, a royal mint, a menagerie, and a public records office. Built in 1066 by William the Conqueror, the Tower of London is also home to real treasures.
