The instructor is knowledgeable and the whole experience was interactive. He also had connections with Japan's minister of agriculture and is currently discussing suggestions on how to improve the distribution and implement proper grading of Matcha for authenticity. It seems like the instructor is passionate about the subject. It was a great experience and we highly recommend this workshop.

Learning about matcha and the tea ceremony in such a relaxed atmosphere was simply wonderful. It's perfect for beginners who want to learn more before experiencing a full formal tea ceremony. We heard about matcha from various perspectives – its historical background, the agricultural and chemical components behind it, and comparisons with matcha from overseas – making for a richly educational time. I was also delighted to be able to choose which matcha to drink from a selection sourced from different regions.
