Eine sehr gute Vorbereitung: ich wurde aktiv angesprochen, als ich den Treffpunkt suchte. Ich war viel zu früh am Cafe in der Mitte des Platzes, bekam aber sofort den Link mit dem Audioguide. Kopfhörer hatte ich nicht, aber bekam die guten, klaren Texte in deutsch zum Lesen. Ich ging gutbegleitet durch die Basilika. Die Kuppel hat mir den Atem geraubt: so unglaublich schön mit handwerklicher Kunst gemacht. Für mich war das überwältigend, was Menschen so bauen können. Alle Kontrollen klappten dank der Tickets auf dem Handy mühelos, sodass ich mich leicht und frei auf die Kunst einlassen würde. Der Preis ist nicht günstig. Aber man bekommt auch viel, auch in mehreren Sprachen. Leider weiß ich nicht mehr, in welchen genau.

We went to the meeting place at the Macdonalds and no one was there from Headout. We arrived about 20 minutes before the tour was to start. Kept walking around , asked people, There were other tours linning up but no one from Headout. We endend up buying tickets from another tour company. We are very disappointed in your company and would like a refund. I am hoping this issue can be resolved quickly as a negative review helps no one. Booking ID, 31557557 fo 3 people. I loved the tour. Meeting point very close to Vatican, and very well organised. Group size was excellent, just 10 of us and the tour was amazing. Our tour guide, Karen, was amazing. We visited the square, the dome, the tombs and of course the Basilica. She provided so much useful information and insights. A good mix or history, religion, architecture and she was great with the kids. After this tour,I would definitely recommend them. My top advice, is book for the early tour, avoid the crowds and the heat. We went at 8.30.

I booked the 9am Basillica with Dome tour and it was recommended that we arrive 1 hour 45 minutes early to account for lines and security checking. We arrived around 7:15am and there were no lines and security screening took 5 min. We were pleasantly surprised that the Vatican staff allowed us to start our tour when we arrived and we didn't have to wait until 9am. It was amazing. I would definately recommend Headout and also to book the earliest tour possible to avoid all the lines.

Despite our visit being on an exceptionally busy day, our pre-purchased Headout ticket ensured that we were in a line that kept moving. And while the features of St. Peter's Basilica speak volumes on their own, our appreciation of them, their purpose, and their arrangement were enhanced exponentially by the audio guide that came with our Headout experience. We'll certainly visit St. Peter's again, and we'll certainly take advantage of all that the Headout experience has to offer.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable, explained everything extremely well and has a wonderful and welcoming manner. The group was quite large but the guide controlled everything well and questions and answers to keep everyone engaged on the area or piece of artwork we were viewing at the time. All, in all it was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to find out more about the wonders Rome has to offer.

St. Peter’s Basilica is a triumph of art and faith, but securing access to the dome is what transforms a great visit into a lifetime memory. Gazing down at the intricate interior details from above, and then stepping outside to witness the sweeping, iconic views of Rome, is utterly awe-inspiring. It is a stunning, bucket-list experience that perfectly captures the grand spirit and timeless beauty of Italy and Rome.

After we went on a wild goose chase to find the meeting point, the overall experience was great. The online directions are confusing and the staff around the Basilica keep telling us different places to go. We were there 1.5 hours early and almost didn't make the 10:00 meet up time. The instructions on the app should state, "do NOT go to the Bascilia, find the tour representative in the Plazza with the orange flag. Online QR code WILL NOT get you into the Bascilica. You must get printed tickets from the tour representative first." Also the dome has two separate entrances. We went to the one inside the Bascilica as instructed to so by the tour representative, but we thought that the one on the right side of the Bascilica was for the elevator to the top of the dome. So we stood in line for it twice.
