St. Mark’s Basilica
Constructed in 1063, St. Mark’s Basilica is a stunning blend of Byzantine, Gothic, and Venetian styles. Its golden mosaics, which cover over 8,000 square meters, depict biblical stories and reflect the city’s ties to Byzantium.

You can also ascend to the Loggia dei Cavalli Terrace for breathtaking views of St. Mark’s Square and Venice’s rooftops. The terrace houses replicas of the famous bronze horses brought from Constantinople during the Crusades, with the originals displayed inside St. Mark’s Museum.
