Je suis arrivé en retard car le bus 435 ne passait pas donc jai pris le bus 434 car quelqu'un m'a dit que ca serait a 5min de marche finalement jai du marcher 20min mais cest pas grave car ils m'ont laissé rentré à la derniere minute. Je suis tres contente d'avoir pris le audioguide car Quinta da Regaleira est très grand et cela m'a permis de savoir quoi faire dans un ordre précis + facilement et de ne pas me perdre. J'ai trouvé l'audioguide très utile et intéressant ! (Surtout les petites recommandations). J'ai beaucoup aimé la 1ere grotte où s'est lumineux à l'intérieur, les passages et grotte qui ont l'air secrète (la grotte du labyrinthe fait peur mais je trouvais ca super cool de le faire). Quinta da regaleira est un endroit qui vaut son prix , il y a beaucoup de chose a découvrir. Le site Headout donne des tips pour la venu (porter des chaussures adéquate car beaucoup de marche, prendre de l'eau, creme solaire etc). Jai pris l'horraire 12h30 et jai pu tout finir à 17h40 (en prenant beaucoup de photo, en faisant une petite pause en s'asseyant). Je ne regrette pas du tout d'avoir réservé avec ce site surtout l'audioguide c'est juste 2€ de + !

Der Besuch des Pena Palace und Parks sowie der Quinta da Regaleira war eines der Highlights unserer Portugal-Reise. Der Pena Palace beeindruckt schon von Weitem mit seinen bunten Farben und der außergewöhnlichen Architektur. Von oben hat man einen wunderschönen Blick über Sintra und die Umgebung. Der dazugehörige Park ist sehr groß, gepflegt und lädt zu entspannten Spaziergängen durch die Natur ein. Die Quinta da Regaleira hat uns besonders durch ihre geheimnisvolle Atmosphäre begeistert. Die unterirdischen Tunnel, versteckten Wege und der berühmte Initiationsbrunnen machen den Ort einzigartig. Überall gibt es interessante Details zu entdecken, sodass man sich fast wie in einem Märchen fühlt. Beide Sehenswürdigkeiten sind absolut sehenswert und bieten eine tolle Mischung aus Geschichte, Architektur und Natur. Wer Sintra besucht, sollte sich diese Orte auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen.

To say that Pena Palace & the Moorish Castle are amazing is not hyperbolic. They'll take your breath away (perhaps literally)! If you are in shape, you can easily manage to see both in a single outing. You must have a ticket for both. Just be aware that while you can enter the Moorish site anytime they're open, you will have a specific entry time for Pena. Tickets are non-refundable & cannot be changed. I recommend you buy all three tickets (both plus bus) in advance to ensure you don't spend a lot of time waiting. You can walk from one entrance to the other. Be prepared for a lot of steep walking at both sites. Wear sneakers. Heels, slip-ons, & flip-flops are not safe footwear. If you wear sandals, choose a rugged style. There are neither handrails nor guard rails at either historic place. All that said, both sites are definitely worth the effort!

Pena Palace was a complete disappointment. Only a small portion of the palace was available for guest to visit. Hardly worth the price and the hike up the steep incline! Quinta da Regaleria on the other hand was much more pleasant and appealing. I really like the crowd control with asigned time slots.

The view of Pena Palace is stunning; all the colours and views combine to give you a unique experience. Quinta da Regaleira is filled with a mysterious atmosphere, especially the initiation well. It also offered a great view of Sintra. Both are places you should never miss.

The castles Pena and quinta da regaleira were amazing to visit. Pena is a bit more focussed on just the castle. Quinta da regaleira is a whole experience with a beautiful garden to get lost in. It is worth it to walk from train station Cintra towards Pena, amazing walk of like 35min. You can easily walk to Regaleira from Pena as well. And if you dont feel like it the carts pendeling over there are pretty cheap. Anyways worth a visit for sure!!!!
