I totally enjoyed navigating in your Headout app abd looking forward to use it in the future. The only thing in booking the tickets in the App there was no mention of the road leading to the entrance where it was closed and the uphill walk was quite challenging. Especially for my wife that had knee replacement surgery. Then after our visit we had to walk to the city center to call an Uber which was also very challenging. In Sintra everybody knew about this road closure except your format.

This is one of the best and most affordable day trips I've ever taken. Just a short train ride from Lisbon, uber up to the entrance to Peña Palace, and then a beautiful hike from Peña to Quinta Da Regaleira allowed us to hit them both in the same day right after another. Peña felt like a fairytale and Quinta Da Regaleira felt like you aren't supposed to fully understand everything about it, which was the coolest thing ever. Highly recommend this day trip, as I will likely be back!

The scenery was beautiful! The initiation well was the best view, such a great experience. Being able to walk down the entire well was so unique. It was a little wet and slippery but there is a handle to guide you down. It was not too crowed and you are able to move around freely without bumping into people. I highly suggest visiting. We only spent an hour and half here but there is so much to see and visit you could easily spend 1/2 a day here.

Amamos o palácio. Mas a dica é não comprar áudio guia com o ingresso on line. Nesses locais geralmente a internet é ruim e o aplicativo necessário para ouvir o áudio guia não abria e foram 6 áudio guias comprados e € jogado fora. Na recepção do palácio tem áudio guia por fone por 5€ e compensa muito mais.

Highly advisable to have tickets - ours saved us the entry at the Moorish Castle close to its closure! For those requiring transport from the gate to Pena Palace there is a shuttle for an extra fee. Also, a walk is required from there to Moorish Castle. Watch your way out as you may exit a different way.

Très belle journée au palais, mais surtout prenez le temps d'aller jusqu'au chalet de la reine, c'est magnifique. Prenez le chemin parmi les arbres la nature , la succession des bassins d'eau , ou les canetons s'en donnent à cœur joie. Nous avons même vu une oie qui couvrait . Quel bon moment .

It was easy to book, store tickets and had clear access instructions. It is a very beautiful place set in fantastic gardens and we enjoyed our morning immensely. It is obviously very popular so was crowded and perhaps the management allow too many groups and entrants in at a time.

Non abbiamo avuto nessun problema a raggiungere questo palazzo meraviglioso, l'attesa è stata solo di 3 minuti di ritardo, ma ne è valsa la pena. All'interno abbiamo visto degli arredi meravigliosi tanto quanto il palazzo stesso. Lo consiglio.

Pena Palace

Please keep in mind that you must enter through the home tour entry rather than the main gate.

The walk from the Park's entrance to the Palace takes around 30 minutes. This ticket only allows access to Pena Palace. Plan your visit so that you reach Pena Palace on schedule.

Private cars are not permitted to enter this monument. It is advised to use the available walking paths or public transit. You may park your car in the historic core of Sintra or one of the nearby car parks.
