The guided visit to the building was very well explained and conducted. Wonderful that a rehearsal happened to be in progress at the time! Very impressed by the layout and content of the of the exhibition. Information on panels clear and succinct. Lovely display of theatre props and costumes.

The experience took you back to the 17th Century. Superb day . The actor that was in charge of our crowd did a superb job of giving us just the right amount of information regarding the actors life back in the 1600's. We will definitely go visit this place again next year . Heartily recommended.

Excellent guide Mark made the experience for me. Brought Shakespeare to life by setting it in the context of London on the 1600's Two points to make Your site indicates the wrong meeting point at the foot of the steps. The booking indicates two hours whereas it is one hour Minor points for me as Mark did such a good job

Seeing a live rehearsal as you take the tour really brings it to life. The guide was very good and interesting and knew when to let us observe the rehearsal and when to start again. It was a very insightful and fascinating visit.

Lots of fascinating details! It was interesting to hear how the theatre was rebuild in detail and where obligatory alterations were (such as railings). Also vivid descriptions of how plays were performed. Missed the very interesting bit of how after such a long time the Globe was rebuild without buildingplans on the basis of an (accidentally recovered) drawing from a Dutch student. Host was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

The tour seems somewhat overpriced for the experience provided. Additionally, photography was not permitted. Overall, it is an average tour and does not last the two hours as indicated on the website during booking.
