DMZ Full-Day Tour with Suspension Bridge Visit

I had the amazing opportunity to have guide Dennis through the whole tour. He provided very good, detailed and interesting details into the DMZ, Korean War history and also ongoing problems in the Korean society. The whole day was very enjoyable and energy was up! The tour provides good views of the mountains and fields outside the big city of Seoul. Except for the lunch and souvenirs, no additional costs were present and the tour is definitely worth the fee when booking. The groups aren’t that big, so there were no issues with hearing or keeping up. Everyone were free the keep at their own pace and be in the moment. Some moments can get quite dark and scary to think of, but understanding the history can help us with the future and prevention. The tour is for anyone who would like to see more of Korean nature and smaller villages, but also learn more about the history and political status of the country they are visiting. Definitely the information depends on the guide, but as mentioned above PLK Travel guide Dennis was perfect. He didn’t provide only basic history book information but also additional stories, that gave so much more meaning to the tour. Thank you again handsome Dennis 🤣😌

Our guide Julie was really passionate about the history. She wanted us to learn as much as possible of the history. Her english was verry good and u could understand everything she said. On a lot of tours the guide gives u not a lot of information on the bus, but JULIE talked the whole time about the history and told us fun facts about South as North Korea. You could ask her any question! You really felt safe on this trip! If you are doubting to do this trip, just DO! It's an amazing trip!

Amazing place to visit, unique experience to see North Korean flag behind the fence. A lot of walking and wonderful spots. You have to take part in this tour!

We had a great time on the DMZ Seoul Day Tour. Our guide, Heather, was friendly, fun, and very knowledgeable. She made the whole day enjoyable and helped us learn a lot about the history of the DMZ. Her energy and sense of humor kept everyone engaged throughout the tour. The tour included several interesting stops, including the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, Dora Observatory, a meeting with a North Korean defector, and Mt. Gamaksan Red Suspension Bridge. The defector talk was particularly insightful, and Dora Observatory offered a fascinating view toward North Korea. Be prepared for quite a bit of walking. The 3rd Tunnel involves walking downhill for over 1 km, followed by another 1 km through the tunnel before returning the same way. Parts of the tunnel have a low ceiling, so you need to walk bent over. The suspension bridge stop also involves some walking, but the views are worth it. Overall, this was a well-organized and memorable tour, and Heather made the experience even better. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

Booking the DMZ tour was hands down one of the best decisions during my trip. The entire experience was incredibly well-organized from start to finish. Our guide Eugene was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and shared deeply moving stories about the history of North and South Korea that you won't find in textbooks. ​Walking through the Third Infiltration Tunnel and looking through the binoculars at the Dora Observatory felt surreal. It really gives you a profound understanding of the geopolitical situation. The pacing of the tour was perfect, and the transportation was very comfortable. ​If you are visiting Korea, this tour is an absolute must. Highly recommended!
