We kozen uit noodzaak voor een geleide tour in een kleine groep, want alle andere tickets waren uitverkocht. De prijs lag dan ook een stukje hoger dan de prijzen op de officiële website. Om eerlijk te zijn hadden we geen hoge verwachtingen van deze rondleiding - we waren bevooroordeeld en waren dus eerder van mening dat we er geen goede zaak mee hadden gedaan. Maar we wilden absoluut de Sagrada Familia van de binnenzijde gezien hebben... Aangekomen op de plaats van afspraak - vlakbij een grote souvenirswinkel - maakten we kennis met onze gids Javier. Een Barcelonees in hart en nieren, en dat konden we al snel vaststellen door de passie die hij aan de dag legde. We werden op een heel duidelijke en verstaanbare wijze rondgeleid en kregen telkenmale een mooie en uitgebreide uitleg erbij. De kennis van deze gids maakte indruk op ons, de wijze waarop hij de rondleiding aangepakt heeft was perfect. Nogmaals met onze dank aan Javier!

I had an incredible experience visiting La Sagrada Família, and I highly recommend booking the guided tour! The basilica itself is absolutely breathtaking, but what made the visit truly unforgettable was our English-speaking tour guide, Christell. Christell provided excellent service from start to finish and is an amazing storyteller. She brought the history, symbolism, and vision of Antoni Gaudí to life with such passion and clarity that every detail of the basilica became even more meaningful. Her explanations were engaging, easy to follow, and filled with fascinating insights that you simply wouldn't get by exploring on your own. If you're planning to visit La Sagrada Família, I highly recommend having a local English tour guide like Christell. She made one of Barcelona's most iconic landmarks an even more memorable and inspiring experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

il tour e' stato bello siamo entrati anche subito perche' avevamo il salta coda in piu' la guida roberto e' stato un'ottimo interprete noi pur essendo italiani abbiamo capito tanto di quello che ha spiegato,possiamo dire che siamo stati soddisfatti in pieno,era la nostra ultima possibilita' avendo prenotato all'ultimo momento,non c'era disponibilita' perche' poi siamo partiti per il rientro

Die Basilika Segrana Familia ist sehr eindrucksvoll! Von aussen wie von innen. Der Lift nach oben lohnt sich auch. Man hat eine super Aussicht auf Barcelona von dort oben und auf Details der Basilika selbst. Unbedingt mit Führer machen, denn es gibt sehr viele Hintergrundinformationen zur Basilika sowie viele Details in den Mauern, die gezeigt und erklärt werden. Carlos war super!

The tour was ok, it was the only way to get inside during our stay so we paid way to much to just enter... the tour guide spent 45 min outside explaining things and we just couldn't handle it so we explored on our own. Tour guide was very kind but honestly it was a lot of info & 100 degrees in the direct sun for 45 min after walking for 20 min...

Brilliant Guide - we had been before but our Guides knowledge and enthusiasm for the building elevated our experience to another level. He explained so much about the features of the building and its construction and knew exactly the right spots for us to to stand to fully appreciate it's beauty . Our guide, Christell, was very friendly and pleasant. However, the guided tour seemed a little brief; I had hoped it would be longer so we could learn more beyond what was already displayed in the church.

Strict dress code: Shoulders and knees must be covered; tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts, short skirts, exposed backs or bellies, see-through clothing, flip-flops, bare feet, swimwear, festive attire, or clothing with designs that draw attention for religious or promotional purposes are not allowed.

Hats and caps are not allowed inside except for religious, spiritual, or medical reasons.

Photographic, sound, and/or video recording equipment is not allowed unless authorized in advance and in writing by the Press Department.

Large bags, rucksacks, luggage, and personal effects will be subject to review at the access control.

Accessibility

This experience is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for those with limited mobility.

Additional information

You can only enter the basilica at your booked time or up to 15 minutes afterward; the basilica does not accommodate late arrivals. Be sure to get there early, just to be safe.

Fast-track entry skips the ticket line, not security. All visitors must pass a mandatory security check, so brief waits may still occur—especially during peak hours. For a smoother experience, aim for early mornings or weekday visits.

Access to the towers is not permitted for children under 6 years old, unaccompanied minors under 18, people with reduced mobility, visual impairments, vertigo, or cardiovascular problems.

In case of adverse weather conditions, access to the towers may be closed without prior notice.

To descend from the towers, you must use the stairs; elevator access is only available for the ascent.
