Beautiful island, great bus tour. Lots of Quokkas, you have to watch where you walk! Left side of the bus is best for viewing as the bus travels clockwise around the island. Make sure you go to the sea link office at ferry pickup location to have your ticket printed as the ticket on the Headout email and app is not accepted for entry onto the ferry.

Alles hat gut funktioniert. Nur die Rückfahrzeit der Fähre war nirgends angegeben. Dafür musste ich erst zum rottnest express Schalter gehen und nachfragen. Dort bekommt man auch die Tickets ausgedruckt.

The Bus Tour was definitely the highlight of my visit to Rottnest. The tour guide Eli was so informative and had extensive knowledge of the history of the island and was a really cool guy. I would recommend the tour and will one day go back to Rottnest

As a first-timer on the island, the bus tour was perfect to get a one-day experience without straining myself on a bike in the sun all day. It was informative and covered all the great beaches and spots of interest that I'll be going back to on a bike on the second visit.

Great value for money and solid communication. Issue with the tickets on boarding the boat back from the island which was inconvenient meaning we weren't able to sit together due to the delays in sorting but the day itself on the island was first class!

What to bring

Bring along your swimwear, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and water bottle.

What's not allowed

Carry-on items are allowed if they fit on your seat without taking extra space. For safety, luggage cannot block aisles, wheelchair spaces, or exits.
