The guide was very knowledgeable but it was very difficult to understand her. Her accent was strong and she spoke very quickly. She interjected asides into her speeches that were off topic so it was confusing when we were trying to listen and understand what she was saying. I would have preferred a English speaking interpreter in the crowds.

Went on this tour with my mum and we LOVED it. The guide was super friendly, told us random Monet facts I’d never heard before (did you know he was obsessed with water lilies??). Monet’s garden was like walking through a painting, honestly, but sooo many people – we kept bumping into elbows, lol. Versailles was HOT but beautiful (bring water, trust me). I’d do it again just for the garden vibes and the little bakery we stopped by for pastries on the way back. Totally worth the early wake-up.
