Fue maravillosa la experiencia, lo que si hay que saber que los jardines no se alcanza a ver todo si lo haces caminando ya que es muchísimo y la visita a todo te lleva todo el día por lo tanto llevar calzado cómodo, sombrero si hace Carlos y botella de agua (hay canillas con agua fresca para hidratarse)

Me encantó visitar el museo, es un lugar lleno de arte e historia lo cual hace que su visita sea mágica. Afortunadamente no tuvimos problemas con nuestras entradas, todo salió a la perfección. Nuestra visita fue bastante agradable. ¡Gracias al equipo de Headout por hacerlo posible!

Het bezoek aan Versailles was goed. Al hadden we verwacht wat meer ingerichte kamers te zien. Het was wel zeer druk, dus je moet wat geduld hebben. Het bezoek aan de tuinen is zeker de moeite waard. Daar kan je een flinke wandeling maken en ontdek je hier en daar iets.

Die Tour selbst war sehr schön. Der Eintritt über den Gruppen Eingang natürlich hervorragend. Das einzige Manko: die Headset hatten teilweise nicht funktioniert das meiner Frau nur in vielleicht 20 Prozent der Zeit. Ersatz war keiner da ... Zudem war es teilweise nicht ganz leicht den Anschluss an den ansonsten sehr netten Guide zu halten weil dieser teilweise nicht gewartet hat ..

Communication was not clear, probably on my part. We thought we were meeting a guide, but it was fine. Once we figured out that the passport tickets were in an email and we sent that email to my daughter who had internet, we were able to show the tickets at the gate within the time frame for getting in. We had to pay an extra few Euros to go the gardens.

Even with staggered timed entry, the crowding in the rooms was unbearable and spoilt the experience. Many smaller rooms were empty of any furnishings except for framed pictures on the walls. The skip the line tickets did not work and we had to wait half an hour after our planned time to enter. The building is magnificent but the crushing crowds spoilt it.

Palace of Versailles

The Palace of Versailles stands as a landmark of French history and royal grandeur, once home to King Louis XIV. Built in the 17th century, it is renowned for its lavish interiors and meticulously landscaped gardens.

Features

Gallery of Coaches: A showcase of 18th and 19th-century royal carriages, sedan chairs, and ceremonial sleighs.

Royal Tennis Court: The site where the Tennis Court Oath sparked the French Revolution in 1789.

Temporary Exhibitions: Rotating displays featuring art, historical artifacts, and themed exhibits on Versailles’ legacy.

The Park: Expansive landscaped grounds, free to visit and ideal for a leisurely walk or picnic.

What to bring

Carry a valid photo ID matching the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

What’s not allowed

Baby strollers are not permitted inside the palace.

Pets are not allowed.

Infants must not sit on laps; infant seats are unavailable.

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the palace.

Flash photography, tripods, and filming equipment are not allowed inside the palace. Photos without flash are permitted.

Access to the palace is difficult for people with limited mobility.

Please arrive at the meeting point 20 minutes before the start of your tour for smooth operation and respect for all participants.
