The variety of archaeological objects is impressive, however, one small remark: it is easy to get lost in the museum, despite the map; a system should be found that allows for better orientation in terms of numbering.

This place is an absolute must-visit! I ended up going back to some galleries twice because I simply couldn't get enough. As an artist and art teacher, walking through the museum felt like revisiting treasured memories from my university Art History classes. At the same time, so many sections introduced me to artists and works I had never encountered before, making the experience both nostalgic and inspiring. A truly unforgettable visit that I would recommend to anyone who loves art.

The staff were very helpful and answered all my questions. The artifacts are amazing, especially the Egtved Girl, Sun Chariot, Gundestrup Cauldron, Viking Runes, Golden Horns, the Viking Sorceress section that includes the largest gold ring weighing 1.8 kgs, the Dagmar Cross, and so many others. Truly worth visiting!
