Discover one of the world’s greatest archaeology museums in Naples, in a small group tour, with the assistance of an expert guide. To the untrained eye, it is difficult to interpret the vast collection present at the National Archeological Museum of Naples.
Learn about the art and culture of the ancient world as your archaeologist guide takes you through Greek and Roman sculptures, frescoes, mosaics, and artifacts. Your guide will also provide insights into the treasures uncovered at Herculaneum and Pompeii; the Farnese Collection; and the Gabinetto Segreto.
Enter the museum and be enchanted by the grandeur of the marble and statues in the Farnese collection. Wander the galleries and admire the legendary statues of Hercules, and the majestic group called ‘Farnese Bull.’ Marvel at the mosaic of Alexander the Great as you walk through the rooms and corridors of the museum. See silvers from the House of Menandro in Pompeii and a number of Roman frescoes excavated from the Vesuvian area.
