Getting Started
Begin your visit at Capitoline Museum. Simply present your Capitoline Card at the entrance for validation. No advance reservation is required, and you’ll have a full week to explore the second site at your own pace.
What to Expect
Step into the world’s oldest public museum, perched atop Capitoline Hill. Discover masterpieces of Roman art and history, from the iconic Capitoline Wolf to sculptures, frescoes, and ancient inscriptions that trace the story of the Eternal City. At the Capitoline Museums, bottles, glass containers, umbrellas, alcoholic drinks, aerosols, large bags, food, and pets are not permitted.

At Centrale Montemartini, entry with bulky bags or umbrellas is not allowed, and pets (except small dogs in carriers), food, drinks, and smoking are prohibited.
