Yerai was amazing! We had the best time exploring Montserrat and trying local wine 🍷 the tour was the perfect length, taking most of the day but leaving plenty of time to wind down and navigate back to our hotel. We learned so much!

Great tour and Marianna, our guide, was excellent. Unfortunately our tickets said that the start time was 08:30 but in reality it started at 09:45

Our guide, Bosco, was caring, informative, and so pleasant to spend a day with. Everything ran smoothly and we were able to have a relaxed but focused day at the monastery. The lunch was a great way to meet everyone and enjoy wonderful Catalan cuisine.

The trip itself was great. The experience I jad woth the booking was not great. I booked a lunch with the black kadonna to be included. They changed my booking on Monday the week of the booking . I did have a few days to change but wouldn't be refunded. They did refund me back $30 for the difference in pricing but then was advised during the tour that we could still see the black kadonna if it was sold out and would have to pay. Not a great exeperince.

What to bring

Carry a valid ID or passport to get your tickets validated.

Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes as the tour involves walking over uneven terrain.

Carry sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses, and a bottle of water, especially during summer months.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: Both men and women must wear clothing that covers their knees and shoulders.

Wearing flip-flops into the monastery is a no-go.

Shutterbugs, take note: flash photography is prohibited inside the basilica.

You must arrive at the designated meeting point 20 minutes before departure.

Temperatures at the winery and Montserrat are generally more extreme than in Barcelona. Check the weather forecast for the day and dress accordingly.
