Ich hatte schon hohe erwartungen aber selbst diese wurden übertroffen. Die schauspielerInnen, die musik, das bühnenbild. Man merkt das so viel liebe in die erschaffung dieses musikals gesteckt wurde, ich habe gelacht, geweint und neu entdeckt das freundlichkeit und liebe einen weiter trägt als hass.

In no particular order, The opening sequence, Mrs Bird's dance Mar-mar-mar-marmalade All the way to the very last song. (Actually, all the way through - I was mesmerized). What a show: uplifting, tear inducing, (both sad and happy), a totally thrilling theatre experience. Great venue with surprising room, super sets, wonderful scene changes, terrific costumes, very accessible music, thrilling choreography, and then there's the cast. Everybody had an amazing WOW factor. Just in case you didn't get it - I loved it!!! I'd up load my favourite photo, but I didn't take any - I didn't think you were allowed to.

Inspired by Michael Bond’s iconic books and the hit 2014 film, this family-friendly musical blends humour, warmth, and adventure for audiences of all ages.

Directed by Luke Sheppard (& Juliet) with music by Tom Fletcher and a book by Olivier winner Jessica Swale, the show features a cast including Victoria Hamilton-Barritt.

The story

When a polite little bear from Peru arrives in London, the Brown family take him in, and life becomes anything but ordinary. As Paddington settles into Windsor Gardens, he discovers that London is full of surprises, both friendly and chaotic. But when a mysterious villain targets him, the Browns rally to protect their newest family member. With music, mischief, and marmalade, the story follows Paddington’s quest to belong and the family’s journey to stand together, ending with a rescue that could change everything.

I cheered and everyone cheered. I gasped and everyone gasped. Paddington was brilliant, heart-warming and thoughtful. The lyrics were witty and engaging. (Hard stare!). I did not want it to end. It was long but I was never waiting for the end - instead sad it had to end. Loved it!

I became a child again watching Paddington. Beautiful sets, strong performances throughout and some big numbers. It's non stop and I loved every minute! Came all the way from South Africa to see the original cast! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything about it! Perfect show although expensive but worth it. Would come again if cheaper but will recommend it to friends not to be missed!

This was the best musical i have ever seen. It combined comedy dancing singing a great story a great cast. Highly recommend.
