The booking of tickets was a big let down. Booked them the day before and despite notice that they would be available within two hours did not meet expectations. After dealing with the support team the tickets were eventually issued 30minutes before our scheduled start time. Had we not planned ahead with our journey we would have missed the time slot. The experience at the castle was ok - probably overrated for what it is. The guy who did the intro with us was excellent.

Meet the representative near St. Vitus Cathedral to collect your tickets. You’ll receive essential orientation and a map. If selected, a brief English introduction is provided before you begin.

What to expect

A historic symbol of the Czech lands with roots in the 9th century, Prague Castle has hosted Bohemian kings, Holy Roman emperors, and modern presidents.

What to bring

A charged mobile device with internet access is required for the online audioguide.

Personal earphones are recommended for the mobile audioguide.

Your ticket is valid for 2 days from collection and allows one entry per included interior.

Operational or ceremonial events may close some buildings; opening hours can change.

Renovations may alter the audioguide order and temporarily restrict access to some points.
