Die Akropolis hat sich stark verändert. Vor 15 Jahren war noch nicht so viel abgesperrt gewesen und es war mehr Platz für die Touristen. Aber trotz allem natürlich einmalig der Besuch.

The Acropolis Museum is absolutely outstanding and a must-visit in Athens. The architecture itself is stunning—modern, elegant, and perfectly designed to highlight the ancient treasures inside. The glass floors revealing archaeological remains beneath your feet add a unique and unforgettable touch. The exhibits are beautifully curated, with clear explanations and a logical flow that makes the history easy to understand, even if you’re not an expert. Seeing the Parthenon sculptures displayed with natural light and a direct view of the Acropolis is truly breathtaking and emotionally powerful. The museum is spacious, well organized, and never feels overwhelming. The top-floor gallery is a highlight, and the café offers a wonderful place to relax with incredible views. Overall, this museum perfectly blends history, art, and modern design—one of the best museums I’ve ever visited.

Walking up to the Acropolis and seeing the Parthenon up close for the first time was unforgettable. The views over Athens were breathtaking, and the whole site felt truly powerful and historic. The audio guide service was very helpful and easy to use: it explained the main landmarks clearly and gave great context in my mother tongue so I didn’t feel lost while exploring. It definitely made the experience more complete. Highly recommended!

The guide Dido (hopefully I wrote it correctly) was great. The audio guide works on GPS - it starts an interesting story and then just switches to another and you cannot hear the ending. In general, the tour is great for lazy afternoon in the city, if you don't want to plan anything yourself. Everything is taken care of. And the view of the temple is great even without buying the entering tickets.

Es begann schon mit einer super Abholung direkt an der Anlegestelle unseres Schiffes. Als wir aus dem Schiff kamen, sahen wir den Bus gerade abfahren. Ein kurzer Anruf des Fahrers des nächsten Busses und der erste Bus fuhr ein paar Meter zurück und wir durften mitfahren. Auch alle Umstiege zu den nächsten Bussen klappte hervorragend. Vielen Dank!

If you are doing tours adhoc and didn't have time to book a guide, this is the way to go. The explanations are really good, you are being guided by the gps feature so you know what you are looking at, depending your location, very useful in places like delphi and the acropolis. The ability to ask custom questions would be amazing, I hope the developers add it soon.
