It was the 3rd day of Chinese New Year and the tradition is that on this day one should go to thigh place. In Hong Kong that means going to Victoria Peak. Getting the tickets for the tram on the day was made very simple headout. I had a QR code in hand which made the process very easy. I had a great time on the Peak and an unforgettable experience of the third day of the Year of the Horse.

Take a ride on the iconic Victoria Peak Tram and admire breathtaking views of Hong Kong

Breathe in the refreshing mountain air as you look out at Hong Kong getting smaller the higher you go

At the Sky Terrace 428 take in stunning 360-degree views of the city from 428 meters above sea level

Since your ticket isn't timed, stay at the Sky Terrace for as long as you'd like before heading back

Partly my fault. I thought I had paid for a return ticket, I had not. But the main issue was just how crowded the sky terrace was. I think there needs to be limits to how many people are on the roof. We were uo for 30 seconds, realises it was over packed and left. The staff on the roof were also quite rude. Probably because they were dealing with such a huge crowd.

Easy on the day to use the tickets - we managed to get on the first available tram. We enjoyed the scenery from both the tram and the sky terrace and finished with a lunch at the restaurant

Please carry your identity proof along with you to the meeting point

This is not a skip-the-line ticket and you may experience long waits so it is recommended that you avoid visiting the attraction during peak hours (4pm to 7pm) and on weekends

Please note that in case of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, you will be given the option to either select an alternative date or ask for a full refund

The Peak Tram is accessible for those with limited mobility who use wheelchairs. Please keep in mind that the wheelchair you bring must be under 24 inches and manually controlled so the staff can help you board
