David, our transfer bus driver, was very knowledgeable, energetic, and kind. He shared anecdotes and historical facts about the area we traveled through. He also took great care to have everyone on board feel included. Our guide at Hobbiton regaled us with tales of the making of the movies on the set and the continued work of the designers. She did this without breaking the spell that Hobbiton enveloped us in—a truly great experience.

Amazing tour, a must do if you are in New Zealand. The driver and guide, Daniel was amazing. Do all your shopping at the gift shop when you arrive, on leaving there is no gift shop. No toilets on the pats of Hobbiton. The lunch it's a must, make sure you add the extra on your ticket.

Everything went well. Beautiful sunny day, David the bus driver was careful and punctual, and had a good repertoire of jokes and interesting anecdotes. Hobbiton was good fun, and I've always wanted to see it. Our guide, Mira, was ideal and informative. She had a lovely personality and a good clear voice. The cider and food were very good too. Thank you, David and Mira The booking process was difficult and I'll give feedback to Headout

The experience was amazing 5 stars! Same with the tour guide abd bus driver however my issues are with headout and the issues with tickets that left me up until 2AM the night before trying to resolve as they were never linked to my account nor when I received them were there clear instructions.

Begin your journey in Auckland, where you will meet your guide and join the group for the transfer to the Hobbiton Movie Set. After a comfortable ride through the countryside, arrive at the Shire’s entrance and check in with your guide before starting the walking tour of the film set.

Step into the world of Middle-earth as you explore the original set used in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies.
