I would always recommend doing this for at least the first day in a new city. It gave us a great sense of where things were and what was what. We found that riding the loop the entire loop and then getting off at tge sites we want to explore on the second route works best for us. The staff in Lisbon were very friendly and helpful.

Lo mejor del Hop-on Hop-off en Lisboa no es solo moverte fácil… es la vista panorámica sin esfuerzo. Lisboa tiene muchas subidas, y desde el bus ves TODO sin cansarte. Puedes ver algo que te guste, bajarte, explorarlo y luego subirte al siguiente bus. Es muy práctico.

Lekker rondgetoerd met eerst de grayline - rode lijn (let op; dezelfde rode hoponhopoff bus rijdt ook rond met gele letters en die moet je dus NIET hebben ook al stoppen ze op exact de zelfde haltes) . Uitleg prima, ook in het Nederlands. 1755 vergeten we NOOIT meer ... errug voor alle Lisboa's toen. Later de blauwe lijn (lekker lang) en een wandeling klimmend bij elkaar gehijgd in het centrum met als beloning wat wijn, bier en lekkere vishapjes luisterend naar de gezellige zangerige Fado van Ana Moura. En daarna toch nog maar samen met mn geliefde een lekker bejaarde Tawny port 20 besteld om deze zwoele voorjaarsavond warm af te sluiten.

We took the Hop-on and Hop-off bus tour in Lisbon. We decided it was a perfect way to view the city and learn history. The city is fascinating with architeture from thousands of years ago to modern daylbuildings. The bus drivers and attendants were very helpful in learning how the buses work. Everyone was mulit lingual including English.

We took 2 back to back routes on a very wet afternoon. The rain didn't really take away from what we were able to see on the 'green' route. Lovely quaint part of Lisbon. Saw a few family tile businesses, mostly winding streets which our driver managed like a pro! So glad we went, despite the down pour!

Passes are valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours and activate when your journey begins.

The bus itinerary can be changed without prior notice.

The itinerary and audio guide may not be synced at times due to city repairs.

Children under 6 years old can travel for free.

Small pets are allowed onboard if they are properly carried in appropriate carriers/boxes.

The 50-minute panoramic night tour departs at 8pm from stop #2 on Red Line Restoradorea (runs from Aug 15 to Oct 31, 2025).

The panoramic night tour is a non-stop bus tour and does not offer hop-on hop-off service.
