There is a ton of information at the museum and because it's self guided you can choose to either read every single piece of info, or make a bee line for the free pint up top!
As a beer lover, I could spend all day here, but also was fun for my family, who isn't as obsesssed as me.

Great fun learning about the history of Guinness and even more enjoyable drinking a quality pint from the home of the iconic beer. The stoutie tour I would highly recommend, great fun to see your picture on the top of a fresh pint of Guinness.

A good measure of Jameson's to welcome us was followed by our guide Paddy's fascinating tour outlining the history and science of the distillery. We were also treated to tales laced with humour. The absolute highlight was the group tasting experience and learning how the different manufacturing pathways for the three samples conferred them with subtly different flavours and qualities.

Derek our bus driver was so smooth at driving and full of great historical information and fun facts. He created a lovely environment on the bus by serenading us 3-4 times with traditional Irish tunes and by the last one as we were all singing the chorus together- all us internationals! My mom loved that there were adiquet bathroom stops for the 13hr journey (as someone with a small bladder) and that no matter the weather, the tour was fun of laughter and fun!
