With a knowledgeable local guide who brings both the city and the series to life, you’ll explore key landmarks across Split. Visit the Diocletian Cellars—the basement halls of Diocletian’s Palace—which once supported the emperor’s private quarters and later became Daenerys’ dragon lair in Meereen. Today, the remains of this impressive Roman complex form part of a UNESCO-listed heritage site. You’ll also see the Golden Gate, the palace’s northern entrance, and the Vestibule, an ancient antechamber of the imperial corridor—both prominently featured in the Meereen scenes.
Walk through history and Westeros
