What to expect

Snagov Monastery

Set on an island in Snagov Lake, this 14th-century monastery is steeped in history and folklore. Built by Mircea the Elder and later linked to Vlad the Impaler, it’s believed to be the final resting place of the figure who inspired the Dracula legend.

Mogosoaia Palace is closed on Mondays; on these days, visits are only from the outside.
