Colosseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum
Hop off at stop #3 and head to the Colosseum, where gladiators once battled for glory in the grandest arena of ancient Rome. Your ticket also includes Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome, and the Roman Forum, where temples, arches, and political ruins tell stories of a bygone empire – all offering a fascinating walk through history.
Pantheon
The Pantheon, once a temple for all gods, now stands as a masterpiece of ancient engineering and Renaissance influence. Just a little off stop #5 on the Red route, you’ll find the Pantheon, standing tall with an enormous dome with an opening at its peak known as the oculus, that covers the marble work of this Roman temple-turned-Catholic church in natural light. Inside, find sunken panels, royal tombs, and Raphael’s resting place, all steeped in centuries of history.
Castel Sant’Angelo
Take the Red route on the bus tour and hop off at stop #6 to visit Castel Sant’Angelo. Built as Emperor Hadrian’s tomb, the landmark later became a fortress, papal hideout, and now a museum. Wander its five floors, from eerie prison cells to opulent papal rooms, and explore its vast collection of ancient weaponry. End your visit on the rooftop terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of Rome.

Castel Sant'Angelo
- Wear comfortable walking shoes as some of the steps and passageways in the castle can be a little slippery.
- If you are visiting with a baby or a toddler, get a carrier.
- If you've chosen the audio guide option, ensure you carry your own earphones.

- Luggage is not allowed on board.
Colosseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum
- Large backpacks and luggage are not allowed inside the venue.
Pantheon
- Strict dress code: knees, shoulders, and back must be covered for all guests.
- Shutterbugs, take note: Flash photography and tripods are a no-go inside the venue.
- Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.
Castel Sant'Angelo
- Large bags and luggage are not allowed.

- Most of the buses are wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. However, strollers must be left on the lower deck of the bus.
Pantheon
- This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

- Only some areas of the castle are wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Colosseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum
- Names are mandatory for Colosseum bookings. Double-check the names at checkout for a hassle-free entry. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID with you to gain entry.
- Please note that timed priority entry is only available at the Colosseum, but the tickets for the Forum and Palatine will remain valid for an additional 24 hours after the Colosseum entry time selected during booking.
- Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE and not re-enter.
- The security check can take 30 mins or more. To make the process quicker, please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.
- Going for the audio guide? Simply ensure that the guides are downloaded on the Headout app before your visit. It’s super simple to use, and you get offline access with an easy language-switching feature. Just make sure your phone is fully charged and don’t forget to bring your favorite headphones!
Pantheon
- Some areas within the Pantheon may be inaccessible due to site restrictions, leading to unpredictable closures.
- The Pantheon may close without prior notice for masses and other events.
Castel Sant'Angelo
- Keep in mind that your ticket is nominative, and you must present a valid ID matching your full name on the ticket for entry.
- While your ticket allows you to skip ticketing queues, security checks still remain mandatory.
