We enjoyed using the welcome tickets as it made using buses and trains very easy no nquering for tickets. Also we used it to access musuems and galleries. The only think was that I had difficulty in getting the tickets forwarded to me in the first place. I did a chat line anad was able to receive the tickets before heading to Berlin. The email that I had been using to Amanada and Emily did n ot reply to me until 8 Ocober which was 2 days after we arrived in Berlin. I had paid for the tickets but could n ot get them by email for some reason, thus the chat line which sorted things out.

We hebben de welcomecard alleen gebruikt om ons met het openbaar vervoer doorheen Berlijn te verplaatsen, wat super vlot verliep. We gingen voor een wandeltocht van 2 uur door het Derde Rijk en de koude oorlog in Berlijn, in de namiddag deden we een boottocht op de Spree en zagen we de stad van de andere kant en 's avonds genoten we van een concert in de Uber Arena. Het openbaar vervoer in Berlijn is top en makkelijk om je vlot te verplaatsen doorheen de stad en de rand.

Het gemak van overal in en uitstappen zonder gedoe met kaartjes activeren of afstempelen. Het is wel even wennen aan het informatie systeem van bus, trein en metro om uit te vogelen welke lijndienst je uiteindelijk moet hebben om op je bestemming te komen. Het is mij gelukt om een keer of 4 ( gedurende 2 dagen) de goede lijn maar righting team nemen. Touch zou ik het iedereen aanbevelen om stressvrij door Berlijn te reizen met de welcome card.

Я постоянно пользуюсь berlin welcomecard, при приезде в Берлин. Беру включая общественный транспорт abc зону и голова не болит за перемещения от момента прилета до вылета домой. Так же получаю скидки до 25% при посещении мест которые работают с berlin welcomecard. Рекомендую всем!!!

Het reizen via OV in Berlijn is ideaal. Je hoeft nergens lang te wachten. De langste wachttijd op een volgende tram of metro was slechts 5 minuten. Bovendien krijg je met je OV bewijs ook nog eens korting bij veel van de attracties in Berlijn die je moet hebben gezien zoals de fernsehturm maar ook de Berliner Dom. de Reichstag en nog veel meer. Echt een aanrader. Je bent overal in een mum van tijd en bespaart geld en tijd.

Validity:

The validity of online tickets is based on the date (and time, for the 48-hour and 72-hour variants) specified on the ticket. The 4/5/6-day tickets expire at midnight on the final day of their validity.

The 4/5/6-day cards are valid depending on the calendar days you select. If you’ve opted for a 4-day card and you use the ticket at any time on Wednesday, then the Berlin WelcomeCard and public transport ticket are valid until midnight on Saturday.

The 48/72-hour tickets are valid for exactly 48/72 hours from the time selected during booking. For example, if you’ve picked the 72-hour card and selected your time slot as 8:30am on Monday, it will be valid until 8:29am on the following Thursday.

Additional Information

Children between the ages of 6 and 14 can travel free on an adult’s ticket (3 kids per adult ticket). Any number of children below 6 years of age can travel on public transport for free.

The Berlin WelcomeCard is valid during the period indicated on the ticket and must be displayed as an A4 printout.

The Berlin Brandenburg (BER) airport, as well as the city of Potsdam, are in the tariff area C. The tariff zones A and B cover the Berlin city area. So if you need to get to the airport or Potsdam, purchase the Berlin WelcomeCard Zone ABC. An extension of the Berlin WelcomeCard AB with a connecting ticket C is not possible.

Each attraction or landmark can be visited only once with this card.

You will receive an email with your Berlin Welcome Card shortly.

Bring a valid photo ID proof for verification.

The Berlin WelcomeCard as an online ticket is valid during the period indicated on the ticket.

Ticket needs to be carried as a A4 printout.
