Booked a 2 hour tour with a small group and anbarcheologist guide. He was wonderful. He spent 3 hours with us. So many incredible details and his knowledge was extensive. Really strongly recommend.

The underground was very interesting and the tourguide gave a lot of informations. The roman theater at the end was surprisingly cool to see. The group size was a little big for my taste (55 poeple) and next time I would take the option without the pizza coupon since there are nicer and friendlier places to have a pizza.

Very interesting tour. Large group so somewhat slow going but guide had plenty of interesting stories along the way. Would recommend, unless your claustrophobic.

Tutto super! Tour organizzatissimo e puntualissimo. La Napoli sotterranea è praticamente una città al di sotto del livello stradale. Se avrete il coraggio (ve lo consiglio) di affrontare quello che le guide definiscono il "percorso difficile", potrete ammirare delle vasche piene di acqua a oltre 50 metri sotto terra!

Visite intéressante mais . Impossible de comprendre l'anglais avec un accent italien! visite devant durer 1h30 qui a à peine durée une heure! Pas de visite du théatre pourtant inclu! beaucoup d'afluence donc visite probablement écourtée. Je rste mécontent!

Conclude your adventure at the Hypogeum Gardens, an underground botanical project showcasing innovative crop cultivation in the subsoil—a concept that has drawn the attention of researchers and organizations like NASA. This one-hour experience combines history, science, and natural beauty.

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair or stroller as there are 121 low and wide steps to access the underground with no elevators or escalators.

Additional information

For people with claustrophobia: There is one optional narrow tunnel. Those who do not want to walk the tunnel can take an alternate route and wait 10 minutes for the group.

Please note that Italian tours run hourly from 10am to 5pm, and guests must arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before their chosen slot.

If you opt for the post-tour pizza experience, the pizza will be served at the end of the tour at Le Sorelle Bandiera (Vico Cinquesanti 33), where your guided visit concludes. Guides will drop you off at the pizzeria entrance, and you can claim your Margherita or Marinara pizza and drink by showing your tour ticket or voucher.

Guests may choose to enjoy their pizza on-site or take it away. Any extra toppings or additions are available for purchase separately.
