Esperienza davvero memorabile. Il biglietto combo per Pompei ed Ercolano permette di vivere in una sola giornata due siti archeologici unici, ma con atmosfere diverse. Ercolano mi ha colpito moltissimo per lo stato di conservazione delle case, degli affreschi, dei mosaici e degli ambienti interni: camminare tra quelle stanze dà davvero la sensazione di entrare nella vita quotidiana dell’antica città. La vista con il Vesuvio sullo sfondo rende tutto ancora più suggestivo. Pompei è più grande e scenografica, mentre Ercolano è più raccolta, intensa e sorprendente nei dettagli. Consiglio di iniziare presto, portare acqua e prendersi il tempo necessario per osservare bene ogni angolo. Un’esperienza culturale bellissima, emozionante e assolutamente consigliata.

De toegevoegde waarde van een rondleiding langs hoogtepunten door een gids. Alesandra was als archeoloog uiteraard goed op de hoogte van de opgraving maar bovenal wist ze met haar levendige vertelling de historie van (+/-) 2000 jaar geleden tot leven te wekken. Alsof je teruggeplaatst werd in de tijd en deel uitmaakte van het dagelijks leven in Pompeii. Vond verder de tour bijzonder goed georganiseerd. Wel zo prettig met zulke mensenmassa's. Ik kan het iedereen aanbevelen Pompeii vooral met gids te bezoeken.

Abbiamo prenotato il biglietto di entrata con audio guida per gli scavi di Pompei, nel frattempo del ritiro in loco del bihlietti ci è stato proposto una gita da Pompei per la costiera Amalfitana ed è andato tutto bene in due GG siamo riusciti a vedere gli scavi e il giorno dopo abbiamo visitato Sorrento, Positano.Da Positano ad Amalfi in barca ...che dire due giorni ben spesi ! Grazie di tutto

Fantastisch zo'n stuk geschiedenis bewaard! Jeloopt echt door de oude straten. Zeer indrukwekkend! Wij hebben enorm genoten! Het was eenvoudig te boeken via Headout! Omdat wij op de dag van de republiek gingen bleek de entree gratis te zijn. Headout regelt dit netjes. We hebben mail gekregen dat het geld wirdt terug gestort. Super Headout!!!

Both Sites are excellent sights. Well worth the visit and the ease of using this site was excellent. Downside local transport transfers are very expensive especially if the trains are not running. Herculeum very limited transport options unless you want to pay top dollar.

Pour récupérer nos billets d'entrée nous nous sommes adressés à l'office de tourisme qui est à gauche de l'entrée Amphithéâtre (boutique jaune) une jeune fille parlant français nous a très bien reçu, et une fois dans le parc que du bonheur!!!

We had a wonderful time at Pompeii. Being a far way from home in the beatiful region of Naples it was a must to see the historical cornerstone that is the antique city of Pompeii. The ruins, the recorvered carcasses and the overlooking view of Vesuvio was, to say the least, breathtaking and thought-enducing. I cannot recommend you enough visiting this place of history. Especially with the convenience of e-tickets provided by Headout. Quick, easy, well priced and with clear communication tickets bought with Headout made our experince hassle-free. Personally I will be recommending Headout to my colleagues and family. Ciao 🇮🇹

I liked getting tickets in advance but it was utterly not nesassary as the ticket lines were short at the venue. It gave us a peace of mind for quite an elevated price. With the audio guide we paid $64 for two tickets that really cost $40.00 The guide was useless. The points were not many and the descriptions were super-short. We ended up going back and purchasing audio guides from the venue. More languages and much more interesting and extensive recordings So it is my first time either Headout and might be the last as well...

What to bring

Carry your earphones for an immersive audio guide experience. If you are given a physical audio guide, ensure you arrive prepared with wired earphones (3.5mm jack).

A moderate amount of walking is involved in this activity. Please wear comfortable shoes due to uneven terrain.

Full names are mandatory for Pompeii bookings. Double-check the names at checkout for a hassle-free entry. Be sure to bring a valid Photo ID with you to gain entry.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: No discourteous clothing or shirtless attire is allowed inside Pompeii Archaeological Park.

Big dogs (above the weight 10kg and the height of 40cm) are not allowed into the venue. Guide dogs with the proper certification are welcome.

Accessibility

Pompeii has uneven ground and limited wheelchair access. Use the south-side entrances instead of the main one.

Choose safety and comfort: This experience is not the best fit for people with impaired mobility and cardiac issues.

Tickets to the ruins are free of charge for disabled people and a companion, to be purchased directly on-site.

Additional information

Facilities: cloakroom, luggage storage. Head to the Superiore Entrance to make use of the onsite luggage facilities.

The fee for the excavation sites of Pompeii is free for all first Sundays of the month.

Children under 18 enjoy free entry with a valid ID.

If you’re an EU citizen aged 18-24, you can avail the ticket at €2.

The same discount applies if you’re a non-EU citizen with a valid Italian residence permit (for study, work, family reasons, etc., as recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
