What to bring

• Swimwear and clothes: Wear your swimsuit under your clothes and bring a change of clothes for after the tour.

• Towel: Bring your own towel to dry off after being in the water.

• Warm layers: Pack a warm long-sleeve jacket or sweatshirt for the cooler night air on the ocean.

• Motion sickness medicine: Bring motion sickness tablets and take them in the morning and at least one hour before departure.

What's not allowed

• Outside food: Outside food and drinks may not be permitted on the boat.

• Safety: Follow all crew instructions and safety rules while snorkeling and onboard.

Accessibility

• Physical ability: You must be able to swim, snorkel, and independently climb up a boat ladder.

• Health restrictions: This tour is not recommended for pregnant guests, those with spinal or cardiac issues, recent surgery, or mobility limits.

• Check-in location: Check in at Honokohau Harbor near the pavilion by the public restrooms.

• Harbor directions: After entering Honokohau Harbor, take the first right, follow the road left, and continue to the large parking lot.

• Meeting point: Drive left toward the boat ramp and meet your crew member by the pavilion next to the public restrooms.

• Harbor position: Honokohau Harbor is 4.5 miles south of Kona Airport and 3.5 miles north of Kailua-Kona.

• Tour conditions: This is an open ocean tour, so water conditions may be rough or imperfect.

• Schedule changes: The schedule may change based on weather, traffic, and manta ray activity.

• Weather dependence: The experience is seasonal and dependent on suitable weather.

• Motion sensitivity: Motion sickness medicine is recommended for guests who are prone to seasickness.

• In-water option: If you select the in-water snorkeling option, you will enter the water to watch manta rays from a snorkel board.

• Ride-along option: If you select the boat ride-along option, you will stay on the boat and watch others snorkel without entering the water.
