Couple确认预订上周5/5It was a really great show! You can feel and see the casts really get along well and love their jobs. The food was delicious. The venue was very spacious but easy to get around. The venue was absolutely beautiful, the stage right next to the ocean was amazing. We loved everything about itMMaria J
Solo确认预订前天5/5It's my first time to attend a luau, I was a bit skeptical about brining my own vehicle but I'm glad that a Germaine's employee that I talked to on the phone convinced me to do so. She made it easier on me.MMerlita C

Know your leis:
-
What is a lei? A garland or wreath worn around your neck, as a symbol of love, honor, respect, celebration, and friendship in Hawaiian culture.
-
Shell lei: Made with locally sourced shells, they are long-lasting wreaths worn around your neck, unique to Hawaii.
-
Kukui nut lei: Made with polished kukui nuts, sourced from the kukui (or candlenut) tree, these long-lasting leis signify harmony, honor, and respect.
-
Your activities explained:
-
Kupe’e: A fresh floral accessory handcrafted and typically used as a hairpiece, or an accessory you can wear around your ankle or wrist.
-
Moko art: The art of Polynesian tattoo making using traditional Polynesian motifs.
-
Imu & Imu ceremony: Imus are large underground ovens used in cooking, typically in luaus or other festive celebrations. The imu is prepared by digging a pit, heating rocks inside it, layering it with vegetation and the food, and finally covering it for an extended period of time till the food is steamed & roasted. The Imu ceremony is the process of uncovering the lid, taking the prepared food out, and preparing it for the luau, to showcase the art of this ancient cooking method in practice.
