Visiting Antelope Canyon was an absolute highlight of the trip, but what completely blew us away was our local Navajo guide. The canyon itself was breathtaking—the way the sun glided through the narrow sandstone slots, painting the wavy walls in glowing shades of amber and crimson, felt almost surreal. But our guide made the experience unforgettable. Beyond knowing every secret angle for taking stunning photos, they casually switched between English, Mandarin, Spanish, and Korean to welcome and interact with everyone in our group. Hearing fluently spoken Mandarin and Korean deep inside a desert canyon in Arizona was such an unexpected and impressive touch! It added so much warmth and fun to the journey, making an already stunning natural wonder even more memorable.

The canyon itself was breathtakingly beautiful—we were amazed by the incredible shapes, colors, and natural beauty everywhere we looked. It truly felt like stepping into another world. Our guide was fantastic! They were so friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and patient. The stories and information they shared made the experience even more meaningful and enjoyable. We felt very well taken care of throughout the entire tour.

The views were breathtaking and it was such an honor to be able to explore the canyon. Our guide was amazing! He really took his time explaining/showing photos or videos about the history. At the beginning of the tour he took the time to show each person the best camera settings to truly capture the beauty all around us. Took several opportunities to take photos of everyone in the group. I honestly have to give him additional credit for holding his composure with more than one rude couple in our group.

Un tour organizzato al meglio la nostra guida è stata a dir poco splendida. I Canyon ci hanno lasciato senza fiato, è impossibile descrivere quello che si prova stando lì. Solo una guida navajo tipo può far capire l'esatta bellezza e valore di quel posto. La nostra guida ci ha fatto anche delle foto meravigliose e spiegava benissimo.. è stata la mia tappa preferita in tutti gli Stati Uniti madre natura regala degli scenari meravigliosi.

Our guide, Aaron, was incredible from start to finish. He explained everything so thoroughly and shared wonderful stories about the Navajo people, not just Antelope Canyon. Inside the canyon, he made sure we didn't miss any of the prettiest spots, pointed out the best angles, and even adjusted our phone camera settings to get the perfect shots. Huge thanks to Aaron for making our Antelope Canyon experience so unforgettable.

Our tour guide, Gavin, helped us take the best photos of the canyon. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was worth every cent and is highly recommended. The ladders are quite steep, but once you get down into the canyon, it is a very easy walk, although here and there it becomes very narrow. It was a fantastic experience that we will remember forever.

The view, and Loren was good, but I felt we were rushed. Unfortunately there were 2groups of Asian tourists that moved ahead of their tour, the group ahead of us lagged so we were had to rush to keep up.

Un décor fantastique et incroyable!! Notre guide Shelby M. a vraiment été géniale, avec ses explications, et nous montrer des endroits particuliers. Et malgré la grande affluence au mois d'août, elle a pu nous prendre toute ma famille et moi-même en photo, avec les réglages sur le téléphone qui vont bien, pour optimiser les couleurs. La visite n’est pas donnée, mais ça vaut le coup d'œil, cela reste unique je pense! Et il m’a semblé voir à l’entrée de Page, derrière une station service, des lieux similaires peut être accessible gratuitement, après un parking?...

Lower Antelope Canyon

Carved by water and wind over millions of years, this slot canyon is defined by its twisting corridors, smooth wave-like walls, and dramatic drops. Visitors navigate ladders and winding passageways, making the experience more active and adventurous than Upper Antelope Canyon.

What’s not allowed

Do not touch the sandstone canyon walls, as they are extremely delicate, and natural oils or moisture can speed up erosion.

You cannot carry your hiking sticks, canes, or walkers of any kind inside the canyons.

Large bags, tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are not permitted, so be sure to travel light.

Video recording is prohibited inside the canyon, though photography is allowed.

Pets and animals are not allowed on the tour.

Accessibility

This tour is not suitable for pregnant individuals or anyone who may find the hike physically challenging.

The route cannot accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, or prams.

Guests who are unable to manage the walking or ladder climbs should not participate.

Additional information

Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time.

Restrooms are not available inside the canyon, so prepare in advance.

Tours operate on Arizona local time—keep time zone differences in mind if you are visiting from another state.
