The experience was one of a kind! I was in awe of the views. The guide was knowledgeable and patient. We arrived full hour before our tour and were able to rebook on the earlier tour! It was an incredible experience. I was a bit scared during parts of it, but the guide encouraged me to take my time! So glad I did this! The guide took a picture at the end for us ! It will be a treasured photo for us! Thank you!

We took the 11:00 AM 2-hour tour. The weather wasn't too hot, and there were no other tour participants or reservations, so we had the tour all to ourselves with our guide, John. Our guide was very kind; we hadn't brought any water, so he sold us some for just $1 a bottle, which was half the price of what we paid at the gas station we stopped at on the way back. He was the best guide we could have hoped for.

Wir besuchten den Deer Canyon (zufällig, da der Lower Antelope gesperrt wurde und wir eine Alternative suchten) und waren als Familie alleine mit dem Guide unterwegs! Auch im Canyon waren wir ganz alleine, es war so toll. Fernab von Touristenströmen. Wer die Ruhe sucht und viel Zeit für Fotos, und keinen Stress ist hier richtig! Danke!!

It was an amazing tour with Wally our tourguide. The surroundings were quite, which made the experience even more magical. And our tourguide knows al the great spot for photos. We really recommend this tour.

What to bring

Bring local currency for gratuities to give to your Navajo guide after your experience. Offer a $3-$5 per person tip to your Navajo guide as gratuities.

Wear closed, comfortable shoes and clothing.

What's not allowed

Touching the sandstone walls of the canyon is strongly discouraged because natural oils and moisture can accelerate the erosion process.

Walking sticks, canes, and walkers are not allowed inside.

Large bags and items like selfie sticks or tripods are not permitted.

Filming is not allowed, but photography is encouraged.

Drones, selfie sticks, tripods, and flash photography are not allowed on this experience.

Food & beverages or alcohol are not allowed on the tour. A small, reusable water bottle is allowed.

Sharp metallic tools or objects are prohibited.

You cannot bring your pets along for this tour.

For health and safety reasons, this experience is not allowed for guests under the age of 6 years.

Accessibility

This experience is not the best fit for people with back issues, cardiac issues, or pregnant people.

This experience is not accessible by wheelchairs or strollers.

There are no toilets inside the canyons, but you can find washrooms at the Antelope Valley Canyon Tours tour office.

Arrive 30 minutes prior to your start time for check-in and briefing.
