Skipping the long queues certainly makes a big difference but I don't believe it's value for money spent. I thought that there may have been maybe some snacks or drinks provided along the way.

Overall the tour and experience was good and we had an amazing tour guide who was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. The issue we had was the information when booking was not clear. In inclusions it stated that admission to Universl Studios Japan was included. At bottom of page under know before you go it stated that separate studio tickets were required. Considering we paid about $3500 AUD for our family of 4 we thought the tickets would be included. We were very embarrassed and shocked at the gate when we were told that we needed to pay nearly $400 more for admission to the studio or we would not be able to enter. Although the tour was good it was not worth nearly $4000 for our group of 4.

Meet your guide at the designated meeting point at Universal Studios Japan. Present your valid booking confirmation to join the tour. Follow your guide through the special entrance and VIP access points

What to expect

Universal Studios Japan: Explore one of Japan's most popular theme parks, with VIP access designed to help you spend less time waiting and more time experiencing its top attractions.

Super Nintendo World: Follow your guide through the shortest route to Mine Cart Madness, Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge, and Yoshi’s Adventure with priority access.

Express Pass attractions: The 3-hour tour includes an Express Pass for 4 selected attractions, while the 5- and 8-hour private tours include Express Pass access for all attractions.

VIP lounge: Relax at the VIP lounge with complimentary drinks on the 3-hour tour, or enjoy lunch or dinner at Luminant VIP Private Lounge & Dining on the longer private tours.

Shows and limited-time events: The 5- and 8-hour private tours include guided access to selected shows and events, including Waterworld, Ollivanders, and Universal Monsters Live Rock and Roll Show.

Upgrades

5-hour VIP Private Tour: Upgrade from the 3-hour group tour to a private experience for 1–4 guests with a dedicated guide, all-attraction Express Pass, lunch or dinner, show access, and a character photo opportunity.

8-hour VIP Private Tour: Go for the full 8-hour experience with a private guide, guaranteed English guide option, all-attraction Express Pass, lunch and dinner, show access, and your choice of a photo or game experience.

What to bring

Present your e-voucher at the VIP Experience Reception for verification.

Carry a valid non-Japanese passport for entry validation.

Arrive 30 minutes before your selected VIP tour time slot.

What’s not allowed

Children under 18 years must be accompanied by a guardian.

Guests who do not meet ride safety requirements may be denied access.

This experience is not suitable for pregnant guests or those with certain medical conditions.

Accessibility

This experience is accessible for wheelchairs and prams/strollers.

Wheelchair users must transfer to attraction seats before boarding rides.

Guests using wigs, prosthetics, casts, or medical devices should speak to crew members beforehand.

Additional information

A separate Studio Pass is required to enter Universal Studios Japan.

The special entrance is located at Visitor Services beside the ticket booth.

Some attractions and paid performances are not included in the VIP tour.
