Our initial train was cancelled, but with rail planner we were able to immediately find and book a new ticket. It was also easy to show our tickets to the train conductor with the app.

The Eurial Global Flexible Pass has been easy to use and manage my tickets. It's nice that you can use one day and take multiple trains within that day (very helpful when you have missed your prior train). It provides most of the platform numbers at each station. Only thing I can say that I wish was better about it is that, it would be nice if there was a better list of train station names for cities (got on train to another part of the city)

Highly recommended 💯... Definitely the best way to plan your itinerary for leisure or business travel. The app and website are very intuitive and always provide all the information you need to decide on the best schedule. Although there’s still room for automation, it’s by far the best way to have your train trips in Europe right at your fingertips, whether for open-seat trips or those requiring reservations.

It's been great—the trains are good, fast, and comfortable, with Wi-Fi, restrooms, and places to charge your phone, and when there are delays, they post announcements. So it's a mode of transportation I'll definitely use again on my next trips. I recommend it.

Seamless activation

Your Eurail Pass is fully mobile! Activate it in the Rail Planner App using the Pass Number from your confirmation email.

After activation, add your journey to get a QR code ticket in the app that must be presented to the inspectors at the station.

Don’t forget to reserve seats for trains that require bookings – do it early via the Rail Planner app!

What's not allowed

This pass cannot be sold or used by residents of Europe, the Russian Federation, and Turkey.

Additional information

The pass isn't valid in your country of residence, except for two journeys – one to leave and one to return.

Seat/bed reservations for mandatory trains are an extra cost and may be limited, so booking in advance via the Rail Planner app or at the station is recommended.

4/5/7-day passes are valid for 30 days after activation, and 10/15-day passes are valid for 60 days after activation.

The pass must be activated through the Rail Planner App within 11 months after the date of purchase and before the first travel.

Your pass will be emailed to you shortly after booking.
