It was all very good. The maple syrup testing was clearly a commercial stop but interesting. The behind the falls walk was good and well organised. But the highlight was the boat trip to the falls was brilliant - so glad I took Waterproof trousers ! Long drive but our guide Winston was very good and made the trip more enjoyable.
I had an amazing time exploring Niagara Falls through the guided tour! Everything was well-organized and made the whole experience stress-free. The Journey Behind the Falls was incredible — standing so close and feeling the power of the water was unforgettable. The Hornblower boat ride was definitely a highlight, getting right up near the Horseshoe Falls with the mist surrounding us. The views were breathtaking from every angle, and our guide shared so many fun facts and history that made me appreciate the Falls even more. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see Niagara Falls in the best way possible!
I loved "Everything!" The energy, excitement, mist, and experience of the falls! It was everything that I knew it would be!!! You must experience it for yourself. It was simply amazing ... yes you are going to get soaked but you are not going to care.
The tour was amazing, got the package that included the Journey Behind the Falls, Skylon Tower and the Boat Cruise. Only things is that if you do book this tour with the 3 attractions included make sure to eat where you do the Maple Syrup testing otherwise you won't have time to do so at Niagara Falls. If you want to explore the city I recommend leaving out one of these attractions (I would say Skylon, views are pretty but I could have skipped it) 100% recommend the tour, I didn't have to worry about getting there and the attractions were really amazing. Jeremiah was our guide and he made sure to explain everything to us and even gave us his Whatsapp to contact him for anything, thanks Jeremiah!
My daughter (14 years old) and I did the all-inclusive tour (Floral Clock, Whirlpool, Maple Syrup Tasting, Behind the falls, Tower, Boat Tour) at the end of July and were very enthusiastic. Our expectations were fully met and if we had to choose, we would book it again!
I'll start with the "but" in the description:
The first three stops in particular are very short or "touristy" (of course it's the whole vacation, otherwise we wouldn't be here). That means getting off the bus, taking photos and getting back on the bus. The maple syrup tasting is nice and at the same time clearly commercial! Did we have a problem with that? No!
Why? The clear answer: the tour guide and our expectations. It was clear to us from the outset that the group tour was a group tour and therefore not everyone could hang around everywhere for hours. At the same time, and we both found this very positive, the tour guide told us from the outset how things would go and what we could actually expect. The Floral Clock is just a few flowers. Should you stop there? Yes! Should you stop there for a long time? No! So everything done right. The same with the other "advance" stops.
It was completely different at the falls themselves. It was clearly explained to us when we should be where. Where we had to go and how to get in. Here, we were actually guided to the respective door so that we couldn't get lost (although it did happen to us on the way back on our own). We had enough time at ALL the stations and were able to see everything in a relatively relaxed manner.
Behind the falls and the tower are quite nice and if you are there, you should definitely do that (the guide was right there too, you probably only come here once). The real highlight was of course the boat tour. Very impressive, very wet and an absolute must! Tip: Despite the poncho, pack a change of clothes and, if possible, perhaps slippers or similar for the boat. We stood at the bottom and at the very front and the water ran into the top of our boncho and our feet got wet from below. On the upper deck, at least our feet seemed to stay dry.
The return journey took almost 2.5 hours due to the evening traffic jam. On a positive note, a short break was made so that we could use the toilets or buy snacks if necessary (not a planned tourist activity!). We stopped at a Tim Horton's so no commission for the driver or guide from the store).
The bottom line, and you can probably tell from the review, is that the trip was worthwhile and is also highly recommended in terms of value for money!
It's probably cheaper if you travel or take care of it yourself, but for us as "uninformed tourists" the package was definitely the right choice.
Thank you very much!
Stephanie was a great sport, world class service and a great knowledge base of the history and attractions of Niagara. Took great care of us, and was incredibly punctual. 10/10 would recommmend.
