Heraklion Tours

The tour itself is magnificent, but the audio guide on the mobile is indispensable to make it perfect. We enjoyed it very much. The voice was pleasant, the story told with sympathy, and the story she told was truthful and entertaining. Everything was perfect.

Convenience of using the app, and the audio tour on our phones was great. Being able to skip the line and just go through the entrance was worth the price.

The visit is absolutely worthwhile, and is made complete with the audio guide, which was most useful and very thorough, never boring. I recommend!

Easy to book. Downloaded App and was able to to download tickets to it so easy to open when out without wifi. Bought combo ticket for Knossos and archeological museum. Chose 8am entry got Knossos but was automatically given a 1pm entry got museum - we arrived 10.30am do had to go away and come back 12pm as they wouldn't let us in more than 1hr before ticket time. Both palace & museum fab. X

Busses run on time, not very crowded. Good value for the price. Maps very confusing, three different maps for the circuits in Heraklion. The Blue Line circuit for beaches near Heraklion is too long on the return route. This is not necessary, as the City Line bus covers much of the same circuit and runs more frequently.

Easy to buy tickets online. The drivers were friendly and the buses frequent. I'd highly recommend. A great way to get to Knossos!

Visiting the "Palace" of Knossos was an unforgettable journey through history. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything with such passion that time flew by. We learned fascinating details about the Minoan world, and just when we thought we had absorbed it all, there was a surprising twist at the end of the tour that completely changed our perspective. It left us amazed and thoughtful, needing a moment to let it sink in. Truly one of the most engaging tours we’ve ever had—highly recommended!

The arrival and entry was very convenient and the guide essential. I learned a lot and the visit was optimal in terms of duration and information received. We saved time and took the most out of the experience.
